Welcome to FairwayBets support. FairwayBets is a golf scorekeeping app that tracks casual bets between friends — who's up, who's down, and who owes what after the round.
How do I start a round?
Home tab → pick a game format (Stroke Play, Match Play, Best Ball, Scramble, or Wolf) → add 2–4 players with handicaps → set the bet → Start. Scores are entered hole-by-hole on the Round tab, and net (handicap-adjusted) standings update live.
How do I add a course that isn't in search?
In New Round → Course, you can scan the paper scorecard with your camera (AI reads the pars and stroke indexes — you review everything before it's used) or enter the holes manually.
How do bets get settled?
FairwayBets never moves money. When the round ends, the Settlement screen shows exactly who owes whom; the optional Venmo link opens Venmo, where any payment happens entirely under Venmo's terms.
How do I play with friends?
Add friends by username on the Friends tab, then add them as players when starting a round — they'll get a live invite and can score their own ball from their phone.
How do I delete my account?
Profile → Delete Account. This removes your profile from our servers and erases all app data on your device. Details in the privacy policy.
